A Child's Time, Not so Sublime

Fidelia was none too happy when her stern mother, her irksome brothers and her cumbersome governess were nowhere near able to give her any time of day, due to the upcoming dinner party.  She was wandering around her home, Pleasant Hill and crept into a room. The room once belonging to her eldest sister Katherine, who passed away due to Diphtheria a few years ago. Often she came here to play with Katherine’s old toys. Among all the trinkets and games the doll by far exceeded all the other toys as her most beloved. The porcelain doll, with blue eyes like the Queens and a dainty dress on, fared to make time for her unlike the rest of occupants in Pleasant Hill. Such a doll that allowed to uplift her once dreary spirits. Fidelia options were most plentiful when her doll was by her side. She felt as though every miss deserved a doll to be there, to listen, and to free the day of bore….
